"I have lived the same journey your child is on, balancing school, discipline, and Quran. That is why I know how to guide them properly."
Assalamu alaikum, I'm Hafiz Arshad Hussain.
My journey has always been a balance between academic excellence and Deeni commitment. While completing my Hifz, I was also a dedicated student in school and consistently worked to perform at a high level. This allows me to understand the routines, pressure, and expectations that your child faces every day.
I went on to study at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where I completed my degree and continued to perform strongly, graduating with Honours in Computer Science. This background shapes how I teach, with structure, patience, and a clear focus on real progress.
Alongside my academic journey, I completed my Hifz and have spent nearly a decade leading Taraweeh prayers in congregation. This reflects not only memorisation, but consistency, discipline, and a standard of recitation that your child will experience in every lesson.
Because I have experienced both school and Hifz together, I naturally connect with students. I understand when to push, when to be patient, and how to make learning the Quran something your child looks forward to instead of something they feel forced into.
With native fluency in English, Urdu, and Hindi, communication is always clear. My goal is to help your child build a strong and confident relationship with the Quran through teaching that is structured, personal, and fully accountable.
Nearly a decade of leading Taraweeh prayers from memory in congregation, a standard of mastery and consistency few teachers can offer.
No marketplace middlemen. One teacher, one family, complete accountability. Weekly progress reports keep you always informed.
Native English fluency with deep South Asian cultural roots. I bridge the gap between Western daily life and traditional Islamic learning.
